Pretty in Pink
Sometimes you take a picture and you are not quite sure about it.. You don’t know what is right with it, yet you can’t decide what is wrong with it. Something about the picture is wrong and you just can’t put your finger on it. So there this picture stays on your hard-drive never to be used.
Well that happened with this picture and the reason I couldn’t decide one way or another was because the colouring of those pink flowers was wrong. The pink shade of the flowers was more intense than it was shown in the picture.
Thank god for Adobe Lightroom 4 where you can process your photos to achieve the results that you want. As I intensified the pink colour and toned down the background, I started to get the true colour of the flowers. And then that picture that didn’t seem OK started to become one that was to my taste.
I have found the art of photography is to have the software where you can process your photos and I have also learnt to shoot in RAW as you can do so much more processing than if you shot in jpeg.
