Back in August, when we were on holiday, we visited Claremont Landscape Gardens that is maintained by the National Trust. That holiday is one hubby and I had up until recently preferred to forget. You see, we lost our dog that first week and we couldn’t bear to be in the house without him, so we forced ourselves to go out for days… we didn’t enjoy them and basically we were just wandering around taking photos without even taking in the real beauty of the place.
It is only now that we both can look back on these pictures and see how beautiful the place really was. We are now seeing the true Claremont Landscape gardens and not the one we saw through tearful and saddened eyes.
This view was absolutely spectacular but to us at that time, it was just another place with another lake that was like any other place with a lake and trees. Looking back now at the photos, I can really see the beauty of it..
Still miss my little boy like crazy.. but I can imagine him running around a place like this.especially if he was in one of his gardening moods and pruning everything in sight. and that in some sense gives me some comfort.
