I’m up here…
Back in March we were talking through Manor Park Country Park and we saw something move in the wooded area. At first we were unsure but as we approached, in stealth mode, we saw it was a grey squirrel. Of course by the time we focused on the little creature that was it, he was off somewhere else. But we stood patiently, ready with camera in hand and by luck he just scurried up a nearby tree and sat there long enough for us to take a couple of shots.
We finally got the shot but when we put it on our computers, we were not happy with the result, it was too dark, and even though he was a grey squirrel, he did have that reddish/orange tint to his fur. The shot was not what we had seen and therefore it just sat there on our hard drives, until just now when I decided to play around with the image in Lightroom 4..
By the way, Lightroom 4 is absolutely brilliant. I would not be without it now and it was well worth the price… It is unbelievable what you can do with just a basic shot, how you can bring so much drama into a picture just by sliding a few sliders and playing around. Even the most boring picture in the world can take on a whole new meaning… it can gain so much drama that it takes on a whole new perspective.
