Hall Place – Bexley
Well, if we thought yesterday at Greenwich was cold, today was absolutely perishing. But we were not going to be confined to a house with central heating.. we were braving the elements and decided to visit Hall Place in Bexley, Kent.
And believe me it was perishing.. especially as you stood by the River Cray and could hear the water going over the little weir.. my god, was it cold.
If you ever get the chance to visit, I would recommend it, there is plenty of space for children to run around and they can even feed the ducks.. The grounds are free to walk around but you do have to pay to enter the House.
Mind you on a day like today, we enjoyed the Glass House.. it seemed the only warm place out there. 😀
