Mount Ephraim Gardens

Mount Ephraim Gardens

The amount of times we have driven up and down the Thanet Way on our trips to Margate, Ramsgate or Broadstairs is no-man’s business.  But never in our lives have we turned off and wondered what is beyond those country lanes.  Anyway normally we visit the National Trust sites, but this weekend we wanted something close and we wanted to avoid the Bank Holiday crowds.

So we looked for something local and decided to take ourselves to a place called Mount Ephraim Gardens which is at Hernhill, Near Faversham, Kent.

As you walk around the grounds there are many viewing points… and this was taken at one of those viewing points.  And for £6 each to enter you couldn’t complain at the price either… it is beautiful place to visit.. and plenty of space for children to run around.

I am an amateur photographer, blogger and digital artist as well as being the female half of RyanPhotography. We both have a keen interest in landscape and floral photography. And we live in Kent, also known as the Garden of England, in the United Kingdom. We both have a desire to travel and hopefully one day move to somewhere where it is picturesque and a photographer's delight.

I find I stick to standard routes as well. Every now and then I wonder what if I turned off here? This looks like a nice find.

It was a nice place to visit.. and by the looks of it the gardens change dramatically with each season…It is surprising how many places there are on your own doorstep that you don’t even know about.. I only found this place by googling about places to visit in Kent.

I just love comments... Thanks for stopping by...
