Another week and still it rained…
Well last week, we went to Eltham Palace and was greeted by the typical British weather.. yes you guessed it …rain. Well anyway, during the week we decided to revisit Eltham Palace the following weekend.. You know what last week was like.. yes glorious sunshine and warm temperatures.
Decision made about location .. next decision was do we go on Saturday or Sunday.. well it had to be Sunday as it is closed on Saturday… so off we trekked today.. cameras at the ready and yes you guessed it… what greeted us was more rain..
As we arrived, the heavens opened for a minute.. but luckily it soon blew over and even though you could feel spots of rain in air.. it didn’t turn out too bad and we managed to get some lovely shots.
Normally I use the basic settings on my camera.. however this week I decided to play with the Aperture setting.. and the above was taken using the settings of ISO 100, f/7.1 and an exposure time of 1/40 sec.
The below photo, was taken by the better half and it is of The Great Hall.. unfortunately photography is not allowed in the house.. but I can assure you the wooden ceiling of the great Hall and the opulence of the Great Hall has to be seen… As you look over the balcony the Great Hall you really do get a spectacular view of the Hall.
