Squiggles… or squirrels to us adults
Now every time I see a squirrel, my mind always goes back to when my son was a toddler.. no matter how many times we said they are called squirrels.. he just couldn’t help but refer to them as squiggles. We have managed during our photography trips to take a couple of photos of squirrels.. on photoshot in Tonbridge and the other at Manor Park Country Park.
But no matter how many times we have been to these places, it has been by pure chance that we have seen a squirrel.
However all changed today, we went to Kelsey Park in Bromley.. and there were squirrels galore running around the park. I have never seen so many in my life.
Unfortunately due to my hands aching too much, I can’t use the big lenses.. which is rather a shame.. but the OH did manage to capture the above photograph.. but problem solved.. I took my Panasonic Lumix FZ-48 camera with me as well. That has an excellent zoom on it and I did manage to get a couple of photos.
And here he is .. side ways… carrying his nut around with him..
Kelsey Park is ideal for nature lovers.. children and dogs.. there are parts of the park where the kids can play in the adventure playground and the dogs can run around to their heart’s galore. And then for the children and adults, there are Canadian geese, ducks, and various other kinds of water fowl…
