I think one of the first trips I did, with my new 70D Canon Camera was to Salomon’s Estate in Kent. It is a beautiful place to walk around, in fact it is a hotel with splendid garden views and two lakes… and you can walk around the woodland and estate even if you are not a guest of the hotel. The estate is set on a hillside… so take my advice if you plan on doing the woodland walk, wear sensible shoes… because when we went.. it was slippery and wedged sandals are not ideal.. believe me!!! 😀 😀
What attracted me to this photograph was the fact that as you walked through this dark dense woodland, the sun’s rays guided you along the path. But one word of caution…. if you decide to do the woodland walk… wear sensible shoes… because me wearing wedged sandals was not ideal… I think the other half of Ryan Photography was already posed to take the shot of me sliding down these hills on my ass, cos there was a glint in his eye… and that normally means trouble!!!! 😀 😀 😀
I added some texture to this photograph in Photoshop and decided that the black and white version added more drama… I do hope you like…. and boy don’t you hate it getting used to a new camera… what with all the added buttons the 70D has to offer… I still haven’t quite grasped what you can and can’t do with this camera… but what I do love about it… is the touch screen and how easily it is to change settings.
