Ashenbank Woods

Ashenbank Woods – Powder Paint Effect

I have always liked the photograph I did of Ashenbank woods where I created a water reflection to a landscape to add a different aspect to the photograph.

Anyway today I decided I would try creating a Powder Paint Effect to this photograph.

A photograph of Ashenbank Woods created in Photoshop to create water reflection and given Powder Paint Effect.

For my final three edits of this Photograph, I wanted to create a softer feel to the image… and tone down the saturation.  My first edit was a black and white conversion … a Preset that I use quite regularly in Lightroom

My next image was one I created that toned down the image quiet a bit giving the whole image a water-colour look.

For my final image… I wanted to create more of a golden tone to the image to give an autumn feel to the photograph.

Out of all the edits I did for this photograph… my favourite is the monochrome version… I just love the deepness of the tones and contrast.

Hope you are all enjoying your Sunday and taking plenty of rest… and photos of course 😀 😀

Your photography Bren is just outstanding!!!!❤️❤️❤️

Thank you… at the moment I can’t get out and about until my hip is replaced so I am experimenting with different methods of processing… and I am loving this Powder Paint Effect.

your so bad at photography

A bit rich from someone who is bad at being civil and polite. Have you ever heard of the comment, ‘If you can’t say nothing nice then don’t say anything at all’. Might be a side of your charm you might need to work on.

i am sorry but i do not like your work as it is extremely repetitive

Well Josh that is your prerogative. I haven’t asked you to like my work and to be perfectly honest.. I don’t care what you think. I like what I do and that is all that matters. I enjoy what I do and as they say it is my image I do what I like with it. Have a nice day xx

Hi Bren, amazing photos! Is this Powder Paint Effect something you have ‘invented’ or can anybody have a try?

Hi Ken I have created a few of my own clipping masks but the original idea is from Woody Walters… https://ninyawalters.clickfunnels.com/order-1136014511499668?cf_uvid=8761b45152c7f3267db85fc219a1b471
