Saturday was so lovely being able to walk without excruciating pain in my hips and being able to visit places and above all being able to hold my camera and take photographs. The flowers in the greenhouse of Hall Place in Bexley are exquisite to photograph. Hubby took the above photograph of this beautiful orange and purple flower. I couldn’t believe how large the blooms were.
Bottle Brush Plant
I was fascinated with the looks of the bottle brush plant. I know I took loads of shots of this plant. You see, I had one once! That was until puppies decided it grew better in their bed than in the garden. I’ve heard of bringing the outside in, but these dogs sure haven’t gotten true gist of the of that phrase. 😀 😀
Another flower in the greenhouse was these dainty pink and fuchsia flowers. They were so delicate on their very tiny stems.
Even though outside the gardens were bare, the plants of the greenhouse made great photography subjects. Added to the fact it kept me a little warmer and out of the wind. Now that has to be a bonus within itself! Doesn’t it?
These wonderful flowers looked so Graceful in the greenhouse and I thought I would use the images of these flowers for the Weekly WordPress Photo Challenge set back in January 2017.
Hall Place is free to enter, there are walks along the River Cray and plenty of wildlife, including Canadian geese, normal geese and ducks to photograph. And there are wonderful grassy areas for picnics and children to play in. Of course you can for a price enter House at Hall Place, with its grand rooms steeped in history.
