Looking back over previous photo challenges that WordPress curates and I found one called Path. A path comes in many shapes and forms, like the image above. Which is of a wooden bridge. A path is made by using different materials that enable a person to walk across an area with ease. It could be concrete, decking, timber planks, paving slabs or even shingle. A path will lead you from one place to another. Continue reading →
You don’t have to travel far from where we live in springtime to get these wonderful shots of bluebells as they cover the woodland. Close to us is Ashenbank Woods near Cobham in Kent.. and in springtime there are masses and masses of bluebells.
Here in the South East of England it is freezing; there is a thick frost on the ground and a definite chill in the air. Winter is coming.. the sun might be shining on this cold, frosty morning, but I long for spring to arrive.
The above photograph was taken back in Spring 2016 at Ashenbank Woods near Cobham in Kent… The deer and the rabbits… are Photoshop Extras but you can still see how thick those bluebells were as they covered the woodland.
Finally it is here.. Photoshop Mix for Android Tablet.. for many weeks and months I have been moaning that Photoshop Mix was only available for your phone.. now it’s available for tablet use and I have created the image above using Lightroom Mobile and Photoshop Mix. Now let’s hope that Adobe adds all features of Lightroom Mobile which are available to iPad and iPhone users, to their android app.
Here’s hoping 😀
The above photograph was taken at Hole Park earlier this spring… when the daffodils were in full bloom and the bluebells were just coming into full bloom. As I look at the trunks of those trees, I can see faces…
Taken on Easter Monday 2016 at Doddington Place Gardens near Sittingbourne in Kent…
Today was glorious… the sun was shining and it was warm and we took ourselves off to Battle Abbey. We took a very gentle stroll and there were plenty of places to take a seat… which was lucky for me… We took the short walk around or in my case hobble around and the above picture was taken just as you were going down towards the battlefield walk. The grounds are glorious and I wish I could walk a whole lot further than I can as there was some beautiful countryside to meander through.
Storm Imogen arrived and as there was no work for the other half today we decided to try and have a stroll at Shorne… recently I have been having great problems walking… so with my Actipatch activated and god knows how many pain killers down my throat… off we set. Shorne Country Park is just up the road from us… and even though it was a short stroll, and I needed hell of a lot of rest afterwards. It was nice to get out.
The above photograph was taken back in 2012 at High Elms Country Park in Kent…
I just love woodland walks… I do find it hard with a dodgy hip but as you walk through the woods there are views to die for. The above picture was taken at Broadview Gardens in Kent… I liked the straight out of camera look, but I wanted to add an autumn touch to it… so I used two textures, played around with the curves and levels in Photoshop and then did some final adjustments in Lightroom.
The other photo is this one
Which was taken at Beech Court Gardens in Kent… again, I wanted to add some autumn tones to the photograph.. only this time I only used one texture and did all the other adjustments back in Lightroom. At this precise moment in time, our photography has had to take a back-burner due to real-life family commitments. Naturally I am rather disappointed that we don’t have the time for our photography at the moment and therefore it is just a case of processing photographs taken earlier. Hopefully, in the near future we will be able to get out and about again. I do miss our trips out..
