Light Reading…

Light Reading…

Well as I have not been able to get out and about to take photographs… which I totally miss by the way.. I have turned my hand to digital art.  Continuing with  the Powder Paint theme that I have been working with  over the last couple of days… I created this image by using a photo I found on Wiki by William Adolphe Bouguereau called Daisy…

To add extra elements to the image… I used a clipart image of a book and added fairy dust to the image…

I like the pastel shades of the first image… but I also like the coffee tones when I added a Lightroom Preset to the image.

Medieval Fantasy Forest

Medieval Fantasy Forest

Medieval Fantasy Forest

For this piece of artwork I wanted to create something that was sort of medieval set in woodland.  To create this image, I created my background texture by using various textures blended together… I found this wonderful medieval woman sitting on a stone wall from Clip Art Graphics and thought she would look brilliant in a woodland…

I added a lantern to give some light to the image… and of course I had to add a fairy and fairy dust… just to give it that magical feel.  I then processed the image further in Topaz Texture Effects 2, and Nik Color Efex 4.

I just had to create a digital art piece which involved snow, a Christmas tree and of course a classy lady..

One of my favourite photographs has to be the one above.. what I like about it is simply the deep, dark and moody side of the photograph.  I love how there is a dark vignette and how the petals are enhanced using radial filters… Continue reading →
