Today we decided to visit a place we went to last year back in May, called Mount Ephraim Gardens which is not far from Faversham in Kent and just off of Thanet Way.
I have wanted to return to Mount Ephraim earlier this year, but it is situated on a hillside, so I had to wait for a day when I think I could manage the climb. And today was that day… thanks to the aid of the monopod. Two uses that monopod has… as a walking aid and a camera stabiliser. 😀
Just as you leave the car park, and start to walk towards the gardens on your right just after the houses, is a field which has horses and ponies in it… oh yes I was in my element again. Horses and ponies. <3

She was such a beautiful horse, so friendly and so photogenic… mind you animals do take good pictures. Even this little dog decided to pose for his photograph.

The gardens are exquisite and from the top of the hill which is the start of the gardens, there is a stream set within rocks, that runs down the side of the hill, with waterfalls that lead you to the lake which is at the bottom of the hill.
You can take your dogs there, naturally they must be on a leash and there are plenty of places to sit to catch your breath and rest your aching limbs (thank God) and of course there is much open grassland where you can have a picnic if you so desire.
