Stacy Fischer One Photo Focus – December

It is that time again for Stacy Fischer’s One Photo Focus Photography Challenge, and this being the last one for 2015…. my god where has this year gone.  I can’t believe it is December already.

I wanted to create something cool looking and I thought blue was the perfect colour.  I did my adjustments purely in Photoshop this time… which is a miracle for me… and I used a texture, which I had converted to black and white in Camera Raw Filter and added some blur to it.  I then did some adjustment layers, including exposure and vibrance and then I added a colour look up and choose the midnight one.  After that I added a vignette and another blur.  Originally I was going to do this photo in monochrome but then decided against it.

Anyway thanks again to Stacy for hosting this challenge and thanks to Julie Powell for supplying this month’s photo…  and to you for taking your time in liking this post and viewing this blog.   And I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

  1. Bren, apologies for my late visit to your post. I love the midnight blueness of your edit! You’ve managed to make the bloom glow even in the darkness, like soft moonlight. Seems you know what you’re doing in PS! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you too 🙂

  2. No worries Stacy… as for knowing what I’m doing in Photoshop Stacy, I think it was more luck than judgment. 😀 😀 😀 😀

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours xx
