Kearsney Abbey Gardens

Kearsney Abbey Gardens
Taken by Ashley Ryan

A few weeks ago I watched a video about how to create a sunset glow in Photoshop and thought I would give it a try.

Even though I didn’t go as extreme as the video showed me how to… I added two little glows one on the left hand side of the bridge and one underneath the bridge.  I didn’t want an effect that stood out and glared at you…  I just wanted to see if a) I could do it 😀  and b) what you could achieve with this effect.  And I have to say I found the instructions easy to follow and even though my little sunset glows are not that evident in the above picture… believe me they are there and it is a technique that I will be using again.
