As I mentioned way back… I have had 3 blog posts produced on the Topaz Labs Blog.. I have felt very humbled in being asked, by Jodi Robbins, to write articles for them. Anyway.. the post I wrote was about adding Paint Effect to Photos and I used a photograph of a gate that was taken at Eltham Palace in London.
I wanted to give the image some different processing techniques using Lightroom and of course my new found craze of the Powder Paint Effect method of processing.

The above photograph was given a golden look and I think it compliments the red in the image.

For the next image above, I wanted to use several of the tones in the photograph and I wanted to create a two-toned effect.

For the above image.. I wanted to try tones between the dusky pink and bronze palette and this was easily achievable due to the fact that on the background of my original image I used a gradient effect to the background layer.

For my last image.. I wanted the tones to keep more of a dusky pink to them… and I love the way that these processing techniques have created a different moods to the image. And I think the two-toned image with its various shades of green and blue is my favourite out of all the images processed.
