Corner WordPress Photo Challenge

Palace of Fine Arts
The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, California.

The topic for this week’s photo challenge is called Corner and you are asked to type of corner evoke emotion within yourself.  Well for me it has to be corners in Architecture.  Especially when you have such great architecture like the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco with its columns and the intricate mouldings on each corner of each column.

A good friend of mine told me that when I get to San Francisco the first place I should head for was the Palace of Fine Arts, and boy were they correct in saying that I would love the buildings and architecture and the landscaped settings with which these beautiful buildings are set in.

I was spellbound by the setting of this beautiful place and recently I read that the authorities were thinking of demolishing this wonderful landmark and I do hope they have a change of heart.  Because this place is stunning and is a photographer’s delight.
