Flower of the day – 8th August 2018 – Viola

For my flower of the day challenge, hosted by Cee Neuner, I decided to post a photograph that we shot way back in March 2017 at Hall Place near Bexley in Kent.  This little viola just struck me… with its vibrant colours and the deepness of its dark purple tones.

In winter, I love seeing winter pansies and violas in tubs, as they bring a little bit of colour to a cold and barren winter.
