In the distance

Windsor Castle
A photograph of Windsor Castle taken in September 2018.

As we strolled around Windsor Castle… this picture of Windsor Castle caught my eye simply because of the moat and how its banks were still suffering from the drought we’ve had over the last few months in the South East of England.

You can start to see the green grass coming through the moat floor where it has rained but the long grass was still suffering.

I’ve never been to Windsor Castle before and I have to say, the changing of the guard was spectacular… cos I do love my pomp and pageantry.  😀 😀  If ever you get the chance to go to Windsor… I would highly recommend it.  It is definitely on our list of places to revisit.. only this time we will probably do the walk along the River Thames… as we saw some beautiful scenic views as we drove home.
