Pooh Bridge

Yesterday, the sun was shining and we decided to take a drive out.  As we are now in the winter months, some places we like to visit are closed for the winter.  Anyway,  one of the things I love doing is going for woodland walks.

Normally we stick to woods that are close to home.  But one wood I have never really walked around is Ashdown Forest.

Heading to Pooh Bridge

And I have never visited Pooh Bridge.  So yesterday was the day, to recapture my childhood and play pooh sticks on Pooh bridge.

Pooh Bridge

You can see the sticks that have been cast from the bridge in the above photograph.  The stream was very low but our sticks did exactly what they were supposed to do… glide down the stream.
