Flower of the day – 11th December 2018

Hydrangea from Pashley

Today would have been my mum’s 93rd birthday… sadly I lost her last March to vascular dementia.  Her last for months all my mum talked about was her mum and dad and when she lived with them.  So for Cee’s Flower of the Day photography challenge, I thought I would post this hydrangea as it brings back childhood memories, of when my mum and I would visit my Nan and Grandad and in her garden by the back door was a beautiful pink hydrangea bush.

Happy birthday Mum xx Miss you xx
