If there weren’t luck involved, I would win every time. ~ Phil Hellmuth

Lens-Artists Challenge #65 – Pick a Place

The Lens-Artists challenge this week is called Pick a Place hosted by Tina, and like Tina, I have chosen Scotland as one of the places that I could visit day in and day out.  The long winding roads, the beauty spots and the mountains captivate me and take my breath away.  I could live in the Highlands if it didn’t rain so much. 😀 😀 😀

Old Inverlochy Castle

We stayed at Invercoe and travelled to Fort William to Old Inverlochy Castle.  The scenery was spectacular especially the river flowing through the grounds. Read More

For my 60th back in 2018, my hubby arranged for us to go to the West End and see 42nd Street at the Theatre Royal, in Drury Lane.  And I thought the balconies of the theatre would be an ideal image for this challenge.

Tuesday Photo Challenge – Stone

Bayham Old Abbey

A monochrome photograph of a set of arches at Bayham Old Abbey which is on the Kent and Sussex border.

Bayham Old Abbey is an English Heritage property, located near Lamberhurst, Kent, England. Founded c. 1207 through a combination of the failing Premonstratensian monasteries of Otham and Brockley, Bayham functioned as an abbey until its dissolution in the 16th century. The ruins were partially modified in the late 18th century, to provide a better landscape feature during landscaping of the new Bayham Abbey mansion park, and were donated to the state in 1961.
